Every day, the VFW works with our affiliate organizations to ensure our mission is fulfilled, and collectively we are making the biggest impact possible.

VFW Auxiliary

Established 1914, members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary set out to serve the veterans of this country and their communities in honor of the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who has served in uniform.

VFW Foundation

As a 501(c)3, the VFW Foundation helps fund a variety of VFW programs and services for troops abroad, military families back in the U.S. and America’s often-forgotten veterans. These programs support all branches of service and are provided at no cost to the recipients.

Military Order of the Cootie

Founded in 1920 and comprised of the officers and leadership of the VFW, Military Order of the Cootie of the United States (MOC) is a veterans service organization that works hard to further the aims of the VFW while adding their own touch of humor.

VFW National Home

Founded in 1925, the VFW National Home is a place where the families left behind by war -- mothers and children, brothers and sisters -- can remain together, keeping the family circle intact even when their service member didn't come home.

VFW Store

Established in 1912, the VFW Store provides income to support VFW programs through the sale of emblematic and patriotic merchandise. It continues that mission today and the revenue generated goes to help veterans, military service members and their families!

Burger King

Since 2007, participating BURGER KING® franchisees have held an annual fundraiser benefiting the VFW's Unmet Needs program. Encouraging their patrons to donate $1 or more with their meal purchase has resulted in more than $7.2 million being raised to date for military and veteran families in need.

Gratitude Initiative

Gratitude Initiative (GI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide essential education programs and college scholarships to the children of our military service members, veterans, disabled veterans, and those killed in defense of our country.

Humana

Humana has had a longstanding relationship with the military and is committed to the well-being of all veterans. Humana is a frequent supporter of VFW programs like NVS and the key VFW partner in our Uniting to Combat Hunger campaign through which millions of meals have been provided to the food insecure.

Sport Clips

Since 2007, Sport Clips Haircuts, the Official Haircutter of the VFW, has been dedicated to helping service members, veterans and their families through their Help A Hero program, through free calls home and the VFW's "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship" program.

Veteran Tickets Foundation

Vet Tix is a nonprofit that supports currently serving military, Guard and Reserve, veterans of all eras, VetTixer caregivers and families of those KIA by providing free event tickets to family programs, such as concerts and sporting events to strengthen peer bonds.

Wounded Warrior Project

Since 2003, Wounded Warrior Project continues to transform the way America honors and empowers injured veterans in our communities, and for the past four years, WWP has been proud to provide millions in grants to support of VFW’s on-base service office program.

Student Veterans of America

Founded in 2008, Student Veterans of America's (SVA) represents a network of more than 1,500 chapters on campus in all 50 states and four countries representing more than 750,000 student veterans.
